How to enroll
You are required to send/deposit a duly filled admission form of Aasha Hostel along with Cash/Demand Draft of Rs. 4,500/- (Rs. 1000/- processing fee + Rs. 3500/- registration fee) in favour of “Aasha Hostel” payable at New Delhi on the following address (A-1/12, Janak Puri, New Delhi-110058).

In addition to parents two more visitors (Local guardians) can visit the student. Parents are requested to fill visitors form along with admission form. To facilitate control-two passport size photos of each visitor (including parents) be submitted at the time of admission. Visitor without photo on visitor’s form will not be permitted to meet the student. Visitor will not be permitted to stay with student in hostel under any circumstance.
Visiting hours
The visitors can only visit the premises on specified days/timings and they must sign in the visitor’s register. VISITORS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO GO INSIDE THE ROOMS OF THE STUDENTS.
Visitors are requested to keep their stay as short as possible to avoid inconvenience to others (not exceeding one hour). For longer duration they may like to take their wards out for some time, with permission of hostel authorities.

Students / parents are requested not to insist on provision of hostel transport/vehicle. The same may be provided on availability, merit of case and at the sole discretion of hostel authority. For this payment of Rs. 40/- per kilometer (prevailing market rate) has to be paid by the student in advance.
If a student falls suddenly ill, for first aid/medical attention, the hostel will facilitate/assist move of student at the earliest and by easiest means of conveyance available at that time. The cost of movement and medical treatment has to be borne by the student/parent. However, in case of serious illness, like jaundice,chickenpox, low/high BP, depression,asthma etc., the student will have to leave the hostel for taking proper rest & care with the parents/local guardian with permission from authorities.
In case of contagious diseases, the parents/local guardian will be requested to shift the student from hostel premises so that other students are not affected.

Fee Criteria
Processing fee
An amount of Rs. 1000/- has to be paid as processing fee. This amount is neither adjustable nor refundable under any circumstances. It is towards administrative expenses incurred by the hostel.
Registration fee
A student who is opting for hostel facility has to book his/her seat in advance by paying Rs. 3500/- towards registration fee which will be adjusted in the first instalment of Hostel Fee. Registration fee is not refundable under any circumstances. Registration fee will be valid upto 10 days of commencement of course for which seat
has been booked, thereafter available seat will be offered.

Caution Money
At the time of admission interest free Rs. 9500/- is required to be deposited. (Refundable-terms and conditions apply).
Payment schedule

(a) The first instalment of Hostel fee is payable in advance by Cash or Bank draft in favour of AASHA HOSTEL, payable at New Delhi only.

(b) Subsequent instalments of hostel fee will be paid by post dated local/CBS (at par) Cheques at the time of admission only.

(c) Medical & other facilities like AC, laundry, milk, provided by the hostel are to be paid extra.

(d) Late fee fine at the rate of Rs. 100/- per day will be charged upto 10th of the due month, thereafter fine will be increased…to Rs. 200/- per day upto 20th of the due month. If the fee still remains unpaid, the student is required to leave the hostel by 20th of the month on discipline ground (for disobedience/non payment of fee for the next month).

(e) Fee is to be deposited in Head Office (West: A-1/12, Janak Puri & South: N-18 in advance i.e. Fee of June 2017 is to be deposited by 4th May 2017 and so on).

Refund policy
  1. If any student pays the hostel fee/caution money/registration fee and wants to withdraw before boarding in the hostel, Rs. 3500/- will be deductedand the balance amount will be refunded along with PDC’s deposited, if any.
  1. If a student leaved the hostel within 30 days from the date of boarding in the hostel due to whatsoever reason, then fee for number of days stayed plus Rs. 3500/- will be deducted and balance amount (including caution money) will be refunded along with PDC’s deposited, if any.
  1. Caution money will not be refunded to a student, expelled/rusticated from hostel.
  1. Those leaving hostel on/or later than 30 April 2017 will be refunded full amountof caution money.
  1. Caution money is not refundable to a student who has not paid fee upto 31st Jan. 2018.
    1. Part of caution money is refundable to a student who leaves the hostel as under:

a) After 31st Jan 2018 (50% of caution money)
b) After 28th Feb 2018 (60% of caution money)
c) After 31st Mar. 2018 (75% of caution money)
d) After 30th Apr. 2018 (100% of cation money)

  1. All refund cheques will be issued inthe name of student/parnet only. The cheques will be dated 16th July 2018.
  1. There will be no refund of fee. Students can stay till end of the month for which fee has been paid.
